FALL BACK

When our phones and clocks move back an hour, we gain an hour but lose much more.

Weeks of road safety are lost as drivers around us fight to stay alert.

Everyone faces a greater risk of car crash immediately after that time change.

What's The Deal with Falling Back?

Drowsy Driving is the worst. Disrupted sleep cycles make drivers tired.

Distracted Driving makes it worse. When drowsy drivers forget driving is the only job, it is dangerously easy to just grab that phone.

Severe Health Emergencies are more likely. There is a greater risk of heart attack and stroke right after that time change. Disrupted sleep patterns may trigger underlying health conditions and no one needs to meet that stricken driver head on.

What Can We Do?

Reduce non essential travel when possible.

But most have little choice when commuting for work or picking up needed groceries.

When we have time change, we have car crashes.

When you've been injured in a car crash, and you think the at fault driver was driving drowsy or distracted, let the investigating police officer know. If there was no officer at the scene, then make sure this information is on your report at the Accident Reporting Centre.

Then call your experienced injury lawyer.

Martin Law always knows a car crash is never an accident.
